Taylor James

In the summer of 2021, I had a traditional internship at the multidisciplinary production company, Taylor James. 

Taylor James is mostly focused on CGI, otherwise known as 'computer-generated graphics', and their work is always stellar. They have a variety of clients, such as Progressive, BMW, and Canon, to name a few. Taylor James provides beautiful, sleek designs for their clients whether they're interested in advertisements on billboards, in magazines, on TV, or on the internet. 

I had several responsibilities as a Creative Intern for Taylor James. I assisted with several pitches, providing sketches and character designs for the very beginnings of projects. I also helped with some organizational tasks and attended

daily production meetings, weekly Work-In-Progress meetings, as well up to 6 or 7 daily one-on-one meetings with my supervisor / whoever was leading the project I was assigned to.

My supervisor was James Harwood, the Executive Creative Director for the NYC location. He summarized his important role at Taylor James as being in charge of “designy CG weirdness”.
